Using Technology to Make Math Fun and Meaningful

Technology helps my students see math in exciting and interactive ways. In my second-grade class, I blend traditional learning with modern digital tools to make sure every student stays engaged.

Some of the tools I use include:

  • Prodigy Math Game for personalized math practice.

  • Khan Academy Kids for short video lessons and activities.

  • Google Slides for student-created math presentations.

  • Interactive whiteboards to explore patterns and problem-solving as a class.

These tools help students understand math concepts visually and at their own pace. To evaluate how effective the technology is, I look at student progress reports, participation, and how confidently they apply what they’ve learned during class discussions.
